Photojournalist and filmmaker John D McHugh spent months embedded with troops in Afghanistan. His series of films have come to define the Afghan conflict for broadcasters and viewers alike. Oustanding journalism! Quitting his secure job to cover the Afghanistan conflict, McHugh is extremely passionate about this series.
I will admit I was hooked on the story in Afghanistan recalls John, Not the danger or adrenaline, but the story itself. I could see that the reality on the ground was very different to the story being told back in the west. This series of 6 films sees John reporting through some extreme conditions in Afghanistan. In one instance he follows a US dust-off crew using helicopters for medical evacuation, Dust-off crews pride themselves on their reaction times. This later proved lucky for John, I am a member of an exclusive club: I have been shot during a gunfight.

Dave Banks is a 3 time Emmy winner - 2 international and 1 Addy. He is a Freelance Photojournalist and his work needs to be looked at and read. So yes Mr McHugh, your writing is good but my preference is David N Banks. Sorry.
